Requires disclosure of AI-generated content and prohibits removal of such disclosures.
Advances transparency in AI-generated content by requiring covered providers to include both manifest and latent disclosures in any content created or altered using a generative artificial intelligence system. A manifest disclosure must identify the content as AI-generated, be clear and conspicuous, and be permanent or extraordinarily difficult to remove. A latent disclosure must convey specific information about the content's origin, such as the name of the covered provider and the GenAI system used, but must not be visible or audible.
