Pennsylvania HB2708, known as the Affordable Epinephrine Act, requires health insurance policies to cover at least two epinephrine delivery systems annually at no more than $35. The act prohibits insurers from lowering cost-sharing below this amount. The Insurance Department must investigate epinephrine delivery system pricing and submit a report to the General Assembly within one year, including pricing practices, policy recommendations, and other relevant information. The act also allows the department to create regulations to enforce the maximum price.
